Madrid, 3 June 2026GAT Hospitality has formalised the signing of an Interim Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) for the management of Hotel Roses Platja, located on the beachfront in the Costa Brava and owned by Hotel Investment Partners (HIP). The property was previously operated by the Barceló Group.

With this transaction, GAT Hospitality assumes full operational management of the hotel, integrating its centralised services, which include Revenue Management, Distribution, Marketing, Sales, Administration, Human Resources, Procurement and IT. The company’s strategy focuses on optimising asset performance and strengthening positioning within established destinations, in line with its broader portfolio approach.

Hotel Roses Platja is a 3-star leisure property with 167 rooms, offering a range of facilities including a swimming pool, buffet restaurant, snack bar with terrace, landscaped gardens and direct beach access. The hotel primarily caters to families and couples from both domestic and international markets, operating on a highly seasonal basis between June and October, in line with the nature of the destination.

Ramón Garayar, Vice President of the company, stated: “Leisure destinations along the Mediterranean coast remain a strategic priority within our growth strategy, as they represent mature markets with strong potential for operational optimisation and asset repositioning.” The company highlights that this type of transaction allows it to further develop its management model, delivering efficiency and value creation for owners.

The addition of Hotel Roses Platja brings GAT Hospitality’s managed portfolio to six assets, reinforcing its growth strategy in hotel management, consolidating its presence in key leisure destinations, and strengthening its position in third-party hotel asset management models.

In terms of the operational calendar, the official opening is expected on 18 June 2026, with the season running until October 2026.
